From 1823 to 1826 Richter lived in Rome where he produced many
landscape sketches during excursions to the Monti Sabini and Albani.
Long after his return to Germany he took recourse on them.
According to Prof. Hans Joachim Neidhardt (Dresden) the drawing is a
very characteristic and important composition of Richter.
Condition:
A small tear at the upper right corner, otherwise well conserved
