This is an early work of the famous then 16 year-old
expressionist, accomplished while still living in Dresden.
The artist effectively captures the young man's unique
physiognomy with scrawly lines and delicate washes.
Felixmüller's characteristic expressionist style is already
visible. Unfortunately, we don't know anything about the
unusual-looking individual staring at us. |
