Reflective Pause

Black and white chalk on blue woven paper bearing a watermark (capital letter »E« and another incomplete capital letter in a circle), ca. 349 x 224 mm
Bears several old inscriptions at the bottom: »A. Graff« and »Graff« Verso: several old, hardly visible inscriptions: »Friedrich Schiller« and collectors stamp in blue: star with five points and the handwritten capital letter »P« in graphite. Both not in Lugt.

Provenance: Museum of Fine Arts Winterthur (Switzerland).

Condition: paper partially bleached.
