Heinrich Richter was the only son oft he artist. He was trained as a
musician. In 1856 he established the publishing house “Gaber &
Richter, Xylographische Anstalt und Verlag” together with A. Gaber
and in 1874 another publishing house, “Meyer & Richter”. Both played
an important role for the dissemination of Ardian Ludwig Richter’s
art. He also published his father’s memoirs, “Lebenserinnerungen
eines deutschen Malers” (1885, “Memoirs of a German Painter”) |
